Laddoo World ("the App") is an educational and activity app designed for children ages 1-5, developed by M.S. Corporation. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to parents and guardians.
2. Information We Collect
Child profile information: a first name or nickname, and an age band (1-2, 3-4, or 5), entered by a parent during setup.
Avatar selection: a chosen pre-made avatar (skin tone, hairstyle, outfit). No photo is required or collected by default.
Progress data: which activities, levels, and games have been completed, stars earned, badges, and streak history — stored to power the app experience (e.g. recommendations, rewards).
Device/region information: device locale and approximate region, used only to set language and regional content — not used for tracking or advertising profiling of the child.
Parent-only account information: if a subscription is purchased, standard billing information is handled directly by the app store (Google Play) and is not stored by us.
We do not collect a child's photo, precise location, contact list, or any biometric data as part of the default app experience.
3. Optional Selfie-Based Avatar (If/When Enabled)
The App may offer an optional, parent-only feature to generate a personalized avatar from a photo. When this feature is active: the photo is processed entirely on the device, the original photo is deleted immediately after the avatar is generated, and no photo is ever uploaded to or stored on our servers. This feature is off by default and requires explicit parental action to enable.
4. How We Use Information
To operate core app features (progress tracking, rewards, daily streaks, recommendations).
To adapt language, currency, and regional content to the user's region.
To provide parents with a progress dashboard and screen-time controls.
We do not sell children's personal information, and we do not use it to serve behaviorally targeted advertising to children.
5. Advertising
Free and Lite tiers may show ads. Any advertising shown to children will use a Families Self-Certified ad SDK and child-appropriate, non-behaviorally-targeted ad formats, in line with Google Play Families policies.
6. Data Sharing
We do not share children's personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Limited data may be shared with service providers strictly to operate the App (e.g. app store billing, a Families-certified ad SDK, analytics that do not identify individual children).
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Profile and progress data is retained while the account/profile is active.
A parent can request deletion of their child's profile and all associated data by contacting info@mscorporations.in.
Selfie photos (if the optional feature is used) are never retained — they are deleted immediately after avatar generation.
8. Parental Rights & Controls
A parent-verification gate (simple math check) is required to access parent-only settings, subscription management, and the data & privacy information screen.
Parents can view their child's progress, set screen-time limits, and manage or cancel a subscription from the Parent Dashboard.
Parents can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data by contacting us — see Section 7.
9. Children's Privacy Compliance
This App is directed at children and is designed to comply with COPPA (USA), GDPR-K (EU), the DPDP Act 2023 (India), and applicable child-data laws in other launch regions.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with a new effective date at the top of this page.
